| Your Move Games has been serving the New England Area since 1994 when Rob Dougherty opened the Somerville store. In 1999 he expanded and opened a store in Providence, RI which moved to a new location in North Providence in Septmeber of 2002. In 2002 Rob also expanded YMG to the web, opening a online store on the website. YMG sells Magic: the Gathering and many other CCGs, Warhammer 40K and Fantasy, Mageknight and other Wizkids products, roleplaying games, and many board games and other non collectible games.
Your Move is the premier Magic tournament organizer for the New England area running Regionals, prereleases State Championships and the majority of PTQs in the area. YMG also offers open play space for players to utilize for casual or competitive play. YMG regulars are among the best in their game - Peter Underwood has won both a Warhammer Golden Demon and Grand Tournament. Team Your Move Games has dominated the Magic Pro Tour for many years. In Pro Tour New York 1999 both Robert Dougherty and Dave Humphries made Top 8 piloting Rob's "Utility Belt" deck. In the very first Team Pro Tour in Washington DC in 1999 the trio of Robert Dougherty, Dave Humpherys and Darwin Kastle took the title home to Your Move Games. More recently Team YMG has dominated in extended, placing two players in the Top 8 and another in the Top 16 of Pro Tour New Orleans. A year later at Pro Tour Houston, the top three finishers were Justin Gary, Robert Dougherty and Darwin Kastle - each not losing a game in the Top 8 except to a team member. With such a formidable team, who knows what the future will bring.
